Fashion Week: Rubin & Chapelle

What: a study of Cubism interpreted in clothing, mostly of soft silk, cotton cut in geometric shapes and drapes on models bodies

Take-away: designers Sonja Rubin and Kip Chapelle worked with designer Johanna Michel to develop prints based on German artist Edwin Michel's artwork. We see a lot of kimono shapes, bias dresses, scarf dresses - an easy elegance that create ease for the wearers while invokes an 80s influence (those Puma sneakers!)

What we love: the geometric print dresses inspired by Michel's work printed 3D on Lectra's software. Works of art!
