Fashion Week: Lie Sangbong

What: minimalist chic reinterpreted in interesting cuts that flow

Takeaway: while Koreans are the latest crop of fashion newcomers that dominate the fashion industry (think about the Chanel resort show), this collection by Lie Sangbong evokes early eras of 90s Calvin Klein - with modern silhouettes infused with American sportswear. As a result, this is a collection that's highly elegant yet wearable for day to day lives.

Fashion Week S/S16: Giulietta

What: cutout pop mix in tennis flirty dresses

Takeaway: Italian designer Modello Giulietta attempts a futuristic match between American sportswear and Courreges, the result is a mix of pop art sportswear that combines fun, flirty-ness and a bit of twee. Strong colors in bold patterns punctuated between mini dresses, an all in one, and several maxi dresses worthy of the red carpet (or a Whitney opening).

What we love: a circle white sheath and bold strip all in one.
